THE COMMITTEE: ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The SUFC committee is elected at the clubs annual AGM, and is responsible for the day to day running of the club. Read on to find out who this years directors are.
Club Captain - Dave Paterson
Dave is serving his second term as Club Captain, putting him in charge of all Saturday football matters and the general running of the club.
Vice Captain - Alasdair Gillies
Ally is second in command at the club this year, assisting Dave Paterson in his role.
Wednesday Captain - Graeme Anderson
Graeme is responsible for the smooth running of all three of Strathclyde's teams competing in the BUCS leagues, competing against sides such as Heriot Watt, Stirling and Aberdeen. This includes squad rotation, travel and post match entertainment.
Marketing - Mike MacKenzie
Mike takes charge of all marketing and media aspects of the club, from communications to sponsorship & PR.
Events - Stevie Lynch
Lynchy ensures that the club has a full calendar of events that not only raise funds for the club, but ensure that all squad members get the chance to meet and enjoy a night out.
Match Secretary - Ross Wilson
Rossco is the main point of contact for administration relating to Saturday squads including player registration and referees.
Treasurer - Craig Thomson
Thommo is in charge of the clubs finances and ensures that the club maintains a healthy Profit and Loss status throughout the season.
