Vinny Bryson
2nd Team Manager

Vinny joined SUFC in December 2007 and is currently in his second season. His intentions were clear at the outset of this season and wants to get Clyde back into the 1st division at the first time of asking. Vinny has previously coached Queens Park Ladies and worked for 2 years in football development at East Renfrewshire Council and the SFA.

With his naval background Vinny is a strong disciplinarian, and likes his boys in uniform. Poor Mike Sutherland and that red jacket will testify to this fact. Vinny sports the full array of Clyde Club wear, from the winter jacket range to the thermal underwear range. The Women of Glasgow are eagerly anticipating this catalogue, but only if Team Handsome are allowed to model too.

Vinny has an intense pre-match routine which the boys have taken to well, especially the American quotes page from the likes of Montel Jordon the basketball legend, The fridge (Walter Payton) and his namesake, Vince Lamborghini. Whatever happened to Shanks, Clough and Taylor?

Vinny who wears his heart on his sleeves, has been known to shows his emotions at both ends of the spectrum to the two’s, which go from the boot kicking incident of Ferguson and Beckham to the silent man approach of Sven Goran Erikkson.

Long term, Vinny has some stratospheric ideas and often needs to be reigned in by the far more realistic and budget oriented members of the SUFC Committee (namely Staples McCall).
