The club has enjoyed further success in the 2009/10 campaign adding the Caledonian AFL Premier League Title, William Turner Trophy and the Glasgow District Saturday Morning League Title to their trophy cabinet.

The SUFC Experience:

Yorkhill Childrens Foundation Champions League 5 a Sides: On Saturday the 13th June, SUFC entered a team into the YCF charity 5s competiton held at Townhead. The team, led by 1st team players player of the year, Mark Shanta, did extremely well to raise £1229.02 en route to the final where they eventually fell 0-2 to finish runners up for the tournament. This was an excellent achievement based on the fact that the team had all been out celebrating the Willie Turner cup win the night previous. Special thanks to Mark for putting the team together and driving the fundrasing.

SUFC would like to thank everyone who has donated so far for their kind contribution and donations can still be made at www.justgiving.com/strathclydeuniversityfc

Legends Day 2010 and End of Season Dinner: SUFC's fourth annual Legends Day followed by end of Season dinner took place at Stepps on the 5th of June 2010. This years tournament continued the 7 a side tournament format of the year before rather than the 11 a side format from previous years.   The overall winners of the tournament were the "West End Massive" (combined with South, North and East) who retained their trophy from the previous year despite stiff resistance from a spirited young team.   Model and Player of the Tournament went to a current student Ross Wilson whose performance was tarnished by the fact that is hair was out of place.

The end of season dinner followed this time at Parkhead.   Some "interesting" speeches and stories from the past were followed by the presentation of the awards for Players' Player and Manager's Player awards for each team.   Club Man of the Year this year was Roddy Mackay who deserved his award for his part played in the running of the club particularly in times of need.
